Team Architrave was announced winner of the design competition for the new Jaffna Cultural Centre in January 2012. The competition was conducted jointly by the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka and the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects. The Jaffna Cultural Centre will be a state-of-the-art facility for learning and experiencing the visual and performance arts.
